Alexa Chapin tosses rose petals before the Blessed Sacrament as Abbott Jerome Kodell, OSB, leads the procession out of St. Boniface Church in Fort Smith Nov. 22 on the feast of Christ the King.
The procession began at St. Boniface with the Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament and continued by motorcade to Sacred Heart of Mary Church in Barling. Sacred Heart pastor Father Henry Mischkowiuski (right foreground) and St. Boniface pastor Father Jon McDougal (background) participated.
During the service participants implored the Lord's blessings and protection upon the cities, families and businesses.
