Father Carrasco to begin new assignment Oct. 1

Bishop Taylor announced the following pastoral appointment:

Effective Oct. 1

  • Rev. Mauricio Carrasco appointed administrator of St. Augustine Church in Dardanelle, St. Andrew Church in Danville, and associate pastor for Hispanic Ministry in St. John Church in Russellville and relieved of his responsibilities as associate pastor of St. Theresa Church in Little Rock.

Effective Sept. 21

  • Rev. James Melnick relieved of his responsibilities as pastor of St. Augustine Church in Dardanelle, St. Andrew Church in Danville and associate pastor for Hispanic Ministry in St. John Church in Russellville. He is suspended from active ministry.
