The new season of “Savoring our Faith” on EWTN will feature three episodes filmed in Little Rock in September 2014.

Host Father Leo Patalinghug traveled to Little Rock for a parish mission at Our Lady of the Holy Souls Church and explored the city for European, southern and Mexican foods.

Father Patalinghug said these “special traveling episodes” connects “faith, food, families and our human family in a more powerful way.”

On Thursday, Oct. 1 the episode will feature the priest at Cathedral of St. Andrew, visiting Silvek’s Bakery in the Heights neighborhood and cooking a special meal with Cackie Upchurch, director of Little Rock Scripture Study.

On Oct. 8, Father Patalinghug will visit St. Edward Church to talk to pastor Father Jason Tyler. They eat at Fonda’s Mexican Cuisine and Tequilla Bar and talk with vocations director Msgr. Scott Friend and several seminarians.

On Oct. 15 they will visit Our Lady of the Holy Souls Church and chat with pastor Father Erik Pohlmeier, a classmate of Father Patalinghug. They will sample barbecue at Whole Hog Café and cook a meal with Gina Binz, founder of the Holy Sews ministry.

These episodes air at 4 p.m. Central on Thursdays. For more information, visit www.EWTN.com/savoringourfaith.
