Bishop announces priest, Mass time changes

Bishop Anthony B. Taylor announced the following pastoral appointments:

 

• Effective Aug. 4

Rev. Jason Tyler relieved of his responsibilities as pastor of Our Lady of the Ozarks Church in Winslow. He remains pastor of St. Joseph Church in Fayetteville and Chapel of Sts. Peter and Paul in Lincoln.

Rev. Jules Norbert Njopmo relieved of his responsibilities as associate pastor of Our Lady of the Ozarks Church in Winslow. He remains associate pastor of St. Joseph Church in Fayetteville and Chapel of Sts. Peter and Paul in Lincoln.

(Mass will be celebrated every Saturday at 6 p.m. at Chapel of Sts. Peter and Paul, effective Aug. 6. Effective Sept. 4, it will be moved to 10 a.m. every Sunday)

 

• Effective Aug. 5

Rev. Norman McFall appointed associate pastor for Hispanic ministry at Christ the King Church in Fort Smith. This is a change to the previously announced effective date of June 14. He remains hospital chaplain at Mercy Hospital Fort Smith, effective June 14.

Rev. Les Farley appointed pastor of St. Leo Church in Hartford. This is in addition to his current responsibilities as chaplain for St. Scholastica Monastery in Fort Smith. He is relieved of his responsibilities as associate pastor for Spanish-language ministry at Christ the King Church in Fort Smith.

Rev. John K. Antony appointed pastor of Our Lady of the Ozarks Shrine in Winslow. This is in addition to his current responsibilities as pastor of Immaculate Conception Church in Fort Smith and adjutant judicial vicar of the Interdiocesan Tribunal of Second Instance for the Province of Oklahoma City. He is relieved of his pastoral responsibilities at St. Leo Church in Hartford.

Rev. Pius A. Iwu appointed associate pastor of Our Lady of the Ozarks Shrine in Winslow. This is in addition to his current responsibilities as associate pastor of Immaculate Conception Church in Fort Smith. He is relieved of his pastoral responsibilities at St. Leo Church in Hartford.
