Q. I have always heard that usury is a sin, but I’m not sure exactly what usury is. Is it any interest on a loan or just an excessively high interest rate (more than just to cover the cost of handling the loan)? (Question Corner, Seeds of Faith)
The time I spend to write this column was supposed to have been spent with a friend whom I have not seen in years. But she had to cancel her visit because a computer hacker took over her invaluable laptop, so she will spend this weekend getting it fixed, instead. (Columns)
