What was the best aspect of attending your high school? Learning that sometimes there are more important things than just getting good grades

What will you miss most about high school? All of my teachers and friends who, no matter directly or indirectly, have told me what I must do and what I must become.

Scholarships: National Buckeye Scholarship, $50,000, Provost Scholarship, $10,000

High school honors and awards: Rensselaer Medal Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Study of Mathematics and Science, AP Scholar of Distinction, Excellence in Leadership and Service in CASA, ACTM Regional Math: Outstanding in Statistics, STEM: Sr. High Engineering Challenge: 3rd place

On Saturday, May 12, the inner court of Subiaco Abbey was the site of the Subiaco Academy graduation. Tim Barfield of Baton Rouge, La., was the graduation speaker. Barfield is president of CSRS Inc. and previously had served as secretary for the Louisiana Department of Revenue.

Woo Chan Lee was the valedictorian. Diego Calvillo, son of Cecilia and Ramiro Calvillo, was the salutatorian. He is a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Fort Smith and he will study chemical engineering/computer engineering at the University of Notre Dame.
