Bishop Anthony B. Taylor announced Aug. 16 that associate superintendent Theresa Hall is the new superintendent for Catholic schools.
Ileana Dobbins, former principal of Our Lady of the Holy Souls School in Little Rock, joined the staff as the new associate superintendent. Marguerite Olberts, associate superintendent for marketing and public relations, will continue in her role.
Hall replaced Vernell Bowen, who retired June 30. Hall joined the diocesan staff in 2009 after serving as principal and teacher at St. Edward School in Little Rock. She began her service in Catholic schools as a teacher at St. Patrick School in North Little Rock. Hall is married to Deacon John Hall.
Prior to joining them at the diocese, Dobbins was also an assistant principal, teacher and guidance counselor at Holy Souls.
