College and major: Honors College at Texas A&M University-Commerce, biological sciences

What goals do you want to pursue after college? I plan to attend medical school with the intent to become an obstetrician-gynecologist.

What is your proudest accomplishment to date? I was recognized by the MSM Athletic Department as the Most Valuable Belle for the 2021-2022 school year. I am also a co-valedictorian of the MSM Class of 2022. These two accomplishments are my proudest because they embody the saying “Must Be A Mount Girl.” To be a Mount Girl is to excel in all aspects of life – in the classroom, on the court, and in the community – and it is a humbling honor to be recognized for these attributes.

How will your faith be a part of your future? At MSM I have been taught how to live out the Mercy values, and in doing this I have both strengthened and solidified my faith as an integral part of my life. I intend to continue living out the Mercy values and my faith by helping and caring for others in my future as a teammate, a colleague and a medical professional.

College and major: Honors College at Louisiana State University, kinesiology

What goals do you want to pursue after college? After college, I would like to become a physical therapist.

What is your proudest accomplishment to date? My proudest accomplishment to date is probably being co-valedictorian, as it is a result of my hard work and dedication to my academics for the past four years.

How will your faith be a part of your future? My faith will be a part of my future through my daily prayers that help me stay motivated and calm even when I am stressed and tired.

Mount St. Mary Academy hosted its graduation at Robinson Auditorium May 24. Donna Chachere, Class of 1983 and business systems developer at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and adjunct professor at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, was the guest speaker.

Co-valedictorians are Amelia “Millie” Noel Allgood and Eleanor Fae Lewis. The salutatorian is Sydney Lane England, daughter of Lane and Tracy England. England will attend Columbia University in New York City, where she will major in biomedical engineering.
