Monk Sauce sales at Subiaco booming

Sales of Monk Sauce at Subiaco Abbey soared in one week. The abbey reported a 3,000 percent increase in sales from April to May. So far the abbey had 343 orders in May compared to 11 orders in April. Great Big Story, a new video network of CNN, visited the abbey recently and then profiled the Monk Sauce on its website May 9. The monks are now known nationally for their spicy habanero pepper sauce. Led by Father Richard Walz, the monks make the hot sauce to support their abbey and junior and senior high school.
