Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Little Rock celebrated the feast of Our Lady of Antipolo of the Philippines May 21 at the 4:30 p.m. Mass followed by a Filipino feast in the gym. All was prepared by the parish’s Filipino community. The event was part of the ongoing celebration of Mary during May. Statues of Mary were brought from parishioners’ homes to create a display at the ambo. Pastor Father Josh Stengel also featured a different image of Mary each week and explained its history. He started with Our Lady of Czestochowa.
