Arkansas Pregnancy Resource Center, a program operated by St. Joseph’s Helpers, announced Aug. 22 that it received a $100,000 donation from Fellowship Bible Church of Little Rock to buy a mobile ultrasound unit. The Little Rock pro-life organization said it would like to reach more women in the area who are at risk for abortion.
“This overwhelmingly generous gift makes it possible for our ministry to partner with an organization called Save the Storks whose mission is to provide pregnancy centers across the country the framework and resources they need to successfully procure and operate a mobile ultrasound unit. Affectionately called a ‘Stork Bus,’ ours will be specially customized for the APRC and will travel within the community in order to minimize the distance between our services and the women who need them most.”
