The feast of St. Bartholomew celebration is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 28 at St. Bartholomew Church in Little Rock. The celebration will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a Mass celebrated by pastor Father Francis Damoah. After Mass a march around the church and neighborhood with a drumline will be held. The theme of the march will be “Walking for Christ in the Year of Mercy.” Activities will include a program to recognize special guests and clergy, an essay and poetry contest about the Year of Mercy, praise dancing and singing, a DJ, a bounce house, games and raffles. Food and soft drinks will be served.
