Pax Christi has been reestablished in Little Rock. The organization will host its next meeting Monday, Feb. 27 at Christ the King Church Ministries Building in Little Rock. The board will meet at 6 p.m., followed by the meeting at 7 p.m. Sister Elizabeth Greim, DC, of Jericho Way, will speak on peace and social justice in the community. Refreshments will be served. Anyone interested in learning more about the organization is invited to the board meeting and talk.
Pax Christi is a Catholic peace and justice organization that opposes war, racism and violence.
On March 9 retired state Supreme Court Judge Annabelle Clinton Imber Tuck will speak on immigration and refugee issues. On April 13 Dr. Jay Barth, a political science professor at Hendrix College in Conway, will speak about civil discourse. The meetings will be held at various parishes in Little Rock.
