Fr. Gregory Hart taking medical leave; new pastor named

Bishop Anthony B. Taylor announced the following pastoral appointments.

Effective Sept. 1

  • Rev. Gregory G. Hart relieved of his responsibilities as pastor of St. Joseph Church in Tontitown to begin a medical leave of absence for an undetermined period of time.
  • Rev. John Connell appointed pastor of St. Joseph Church in Tontitown. This is in addition to his current responsibilities as pastor of St. Raphael Church in Springdale.
  • Rev. William W. Burmester appointed associate pastor of St. Joseph Church in Tontitown.This is in addition to his current responsibilities as associate pastor of St. Raphael Church in Springdale.
  • Rev. Ramsés A. Mendieta Lacayo appointed associate pastor of St. Joseph Church in Tontitown.This is in addition to his current responsibilities as associate pastor of St. Raphael Church in Springdale.
  • Rev. Michael Bass appointed associate pastor of St. Raphael Church in Springdale and St. Joseph Church in Tontitown. He is relieved of his responsibilities as associate pastor of Immaculate Conception Church in North Little Rock.
  • Rev. Francis Damoah, SVD, appointed half-time associate pastor of Immaculate Conception Church in North Little Rock. This is in addition to his current responsibilities as pastor of St. Bartholomew Church in Little Rock, and St. Augustine Church in North Little Rock. He is relieved of his responsibilities as pastor of St. Mary Church in North Little Rock. 
  • Msgr. Francis I. Malone, JCL, PA, appointed administrator of St. Mary Church in North Little Rock. This is in addition to his current responsibilities as pastor of Christ the King Church in Little Rock.
  • Rev. Francis Madanu appointed associate pastor of St. Mary Church in North Little Rock. This is in addition to his current responsibilities as associate pastor of Christ the King Church in Little Rock.
  • Rev. J. Lucas Womack appointed associate pastor of St. Mary Church in North Little Rock. This is in addition to his current responsibilities as associate pastor of Christ the King Church in Little Rock.
