April Williamson, the sixth-grade homeroom and language arts teacher for fourth, fifth and sixth grades at Blessed Sacrament School in Jonesboro, was chosen as the KAIT Region 8 Teacher for May. The television station reported, “Students and co-workers of Williamson sent in more than 13 nomination letters, speaking very highly of her and how involved she is with students in and out of the classroom.”
She replied, “Blessed Sacrament is like a family. I love each one of the students and their families.”
Williamson is beginning her 25th year of teaching at Blessed Sacrament.
