Cliff Yeary, an associate director of Little Rock Scripture Study for 15 years, retired in December. He wrote Bible study materials and columns as well as books for LRSS. Three of his books are already published: “Pilgrim People,” “Welcome to the Feast: The Story of the Eucharist in Scripture” and “Hail Mary, Holy Bible: Sacred Scripture and the Mysteries of the Rosary.” His fourth book on the Sermon on the Mount is currently in production.
Director Cackie Upchurch said, “Cliff was a blessing to our ministry and his work with us will continue to be a blessing in our lives and in the faith journey of so many people around the country who are using the materials he authored, both in articles and the books he wrote while with us.”
Yeary, a native of Idaho, and his wife Liz relocated to Oregon to be closer to their adult children and grandchildren.
“We are certain that he’ll always be a minister of God’s Word wherever he goes; it’s simply part of his spiritual DNA,” Upchurch said.
