Michael Flannery, a member of Christ the King Church in Little Rock, has been named the associate dean for academic affairs at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law. Flannery joined the law school in 2003 and was named the Judge George Howard Jr. Distinguished Professor of Law in 2010. He served as associate dean for faculty development from 2014 to 2016. He will begin his new position May 15.
“Michael is an excellent colleague, and he is committed to Bowen’s success,” said John DiPippa, dean of the law school, who is also Catholic. “He will be an outstanding associate dean.”
