Internet safety presentation

An awareness assembly was held for high school and upper middle school students at St. Joseph School in Conway April 6 regarding internet safety and human trafficking. The speaker was Gretchen Smeltzer, founder and director of Into the Light, a faith-based, non-profit organization that advocates for survivors of human trafficking in Arkansas. 

Smeltzer said, “There’s a vulnerable population no matter where we live.”
