Festival of the Senses will present T. S. Eliot’s Nobel Prize play, “Murder in the Cathedral,” at 7 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 28 at St. Luke Episcopal Church in North Little Rock.
The play dramatizes the assassination and martyrdom in 1170 of Archbishop Thomas Becket. Produced and directed by Jason Green, the play will be performed by a cast of local actors in the roles of Becket, priests, tempters, knights and the women of Canterbury.
All donations received at the performance, which is free and open to the public, will go to the Arkansas Repertory Theater to contribute toward the rejuvenation of the arts organization.
