Trinity Junior High School in Fort Smith observed Advent by sending letters to soldiers, nursing home residents and the sisters of St. Scholastica Monastery, celebrating special feast days, daily devotional prayers, praying with prayer partners and by reaching out to local agencies in the community. Each grade held its own collection drive. The ninth grade collected items like razors and shaving cream for the Hope Campus stocking stuffers. Eighth graders collected food and seventh graders collected lip balm and other stocking stuffers for the Community Clearinghouse.
