As part of the Immaculate Conception Student Lighthouse Team’s service project initiative the Fort Smith school hosted a coat drive. The drive began in December and benefited the Children’s Service League. Students and staff brought in gently used coats for underprivileged children.
“A student on the Student Lighthouse team suggested we donate to the organization because her mom volunteers there,” said Laura Kendall, one of the faculty sponsors.
An estimated 200 coats were donated.
