Parishioners from St. Paul the Apostle Church in Pocahontas and St. John the Baptist Church in Engelberg made a Lenten pilgrimage March 26 to Arkansas parishes. The 28 pilgrims began in Pocahontas with pastor Father Mariadass Vallapaneni and first traveled to Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Walnut Ridge where they were hosted by Father Stephen Mallanga and prayed the rosary.
Father Alphonse Gollapalli welcomed the group to Blessed Sacrament Church in Jonesboro. Father Vallapaneni celebrated Mass and pilgrims prayed the Stations of the Cross and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.
