On June 25, Mother Anastasia Dike, mother superior of the Daughters of Divine Love Congregation, which was founded in Nigeria, visited with Bishop Anthony B. Taylor on her canonical visit to Little Rock. Sister Olivia Agbakoba, regional superior of the Daughters of Divine Love in the U.S., and local religious, Sisters Mary Francis Amanfo and Theodora Ajagu, also accompanied Mother Anastasia.
They visited St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock, where Sister Francis is a chaplain, and were greeted with a tour, Mass and a lunch celebrating Mother Anastasia’s arrival. The mother superior visited with Sisters Francis and Theodora regarding their ministry to the diocese and to the local Nigerian (Igbo) community, which celebrates Mass at St. Augustine Church in North Little Rock. The stop was part of a larger visit with their communities throughout the United States and Europe.
