The St. Oscar Romero Catholic Community in Greenbrier is closer to getting a permanent home.
On Aug. 15, following the feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Mass in its temporary location, Father Tony Robbins and parishioners traveled to the site of its future chapel at 57 South Broadview, Suite 102 for a blessing.
The community has been meeting Saturday evenings for Masses for eight months. On March 16 Bishop Anthony B. Taylor celebrated Mass with the community and designated its name. Call Father Tony Robbins at (501) 327-6568 for more information.
