New Knights of Columbus members

Published October 3, 2019

On Sept. 22 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Hot Springs Village, the first, second and third degree levels of membership within a Knights of Columbus council were given to 20 men. Each degree has its own installation ceremony.

A first for Arkansas happened when 10 of the 20 men completing these milestones were seminarians from the House of Formation in Little Rock.

Six men went through the first degree exemplification. They were Quinn Thomas, Jonesboro; Hong Dai Nguyen, Little Rock; Duwan Booker, Conway; Joel Brackett, Rogers; Sam Stengel, Paris; and Jonathan Semmler, Hot Springs Village.

Ten men celebrated the second degree admission and third degree formation. They were Pablo Quintana, Magnolia; Cody Eveld, Charleston; Joseph Jones Little Rock; and Tuan Do, North Little Rock. From Council 10208 in Hot Springs Village were Jack Wilson, John D. Weidert, Gilbert Duran, Fred Gemme, Greg Hilbert and John Sagan. Other Knights honored included Ron King and Ron Reed, both Hot Springs; and Ray Ruble and Benjamin Bapts, both of Monticello.
