Our Lady of Guadalupe procession

For the celebration of Our Lady of Guadalupe Thursday, Dec. 12 a solemn procession of the Virgin of Guadalupe will begin at 4:30 p.m. beginning at St. Mary Church at 100 Central Ave in Hot Springs and ending at St. John the Baptist Church at 589 Grand Ave.

A bilingual Mass will be held at 6 p.m. at St. John. A dance and dinner will follow at 7 p.m. in the gym.

In Fort Smith, a pilgrimage will be held Sunday, Dec. 8 at Fort Smith Park on Sixth Street beginning at 8 a.m. The procession will then proceed to Immaculate Conception Church around 12:30 p.m. for a celebration. Contact Mariella Araujo at (479) 783-7963 for more information.
