Our Lady of the Holy Souls School Robotics in Little Rock has made it an international robotics competition. During the U.S. Open Robotics Championship, teams from across the world are invited to compete in different games and challenges played in six distinct tournaments. The event was set for March 30-April 1 in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Two of the four Holy Souls teams qualified to participate. The elementary team, 4 Roboteers, consists of Chris Wilkerson, Blake Yakoubian, Becket Glancy and George Saer. The Wabbots, consisting of Carson Vogelpohl, Sam Gunderman, Harrison Brooks, Henry Saer and Lindsey Morris will be competing in the middle school bracket. Both teams were invited to play in the the VEX IQ Challenge Squared Away. Teams are judged on STEM research, design, programming skills, a team interview and teamwork.
