Furloughs at Mercy NWA

Mercy Northwest Arkansas in Rogers will furlough and lay off hospital and clinic employees, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported. The hospital did not say how many employees would be affected.

Furloughs will last through the end of July. Furloughed employees will maintain their health insurance, and an additional 80 hours of pay may be provided through Mercy’s crisis paid time off fund, according to the newspaper. Employees in leadership positions will earn up to 26 percent less this year than last year.
