Sister Regina, 78, was born in Windthorst, Texas. She enjoyed a career as a teacher for many years, teaching in parish and public schools. Today, Sister Regina is the monastery procurator.
To help ring in the anniversary, Mayor George McGill attended the celebration and awarded each jubilarian with a certificate honoring her and her life’s work. After Mass, the mayor joined the community in the dining hall for lunch and cake.
