Published September 18, 2020

The National 40 Days for Life prayer campaign returns to Little Rock Wednesday, Sept. 23 through Sunday, Nov. 1. 40 Days for Life is a pro-life campaign to end abortion. Little Rock’s 18th prayer vigil will again be held from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily for 40 days at a new location, the new Planned Parenthood clinic at 1501 Aldersgate Road.

Chemical abortions are increasing.  In 2019 while reported surgical abortions decreased by 366 in Arkansas, chemical abortions increased by 258. Of the 2,963 reported abortions in Arkansas, 1,237 (42 percent) were chemical abortions, done primarily at Planned Parenthood.

The fall campaign will kick off at 3 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 20 on the sidewalk at Planned Parenthood. Bishop Anthony B. Taylor will lead the Stations of the Cross at 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 23.
