A pop-up COVID-19 clinic was held May 4 at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Rogers. The event was sponsored by the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Recipients of the vaccine were reminded that they did not need to provide their Social Security number, proof of citizenship or legal status. UAMS administered one dose of the two-dose Pfizer vaccine at the clinic.
The clinic was also supported by the Hispanic Women’s Organization of Arkansas, Arkansas Immigrant Defense, RootED NWA, Arkansas United, and Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield.
All Arkansans age 16 and older are eligible for vaccinations. A parent or guardian must come to the vaccine appointment with patients under 18.
To request a mobile vaccination clinic, churches or organizations can fill out a request form at uamshealth.com/population-health-mobile-unit-visit-request/.
