The Arkansas chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is hosting a series of free suicide prevention and intervention workshops for faith leaders. The non-denominational faith-based events are called “Soul Shop: Ministering to the Faith Community Affected by Suicide.” They will be held from 8:30 p.m.-4 p.m., Tuesday, May 11 in Helena; Friday, May 14 in Batesville; and Saturday, May 15 in Brinkley.
