The spirit squad at Ozark Catholic Academy in Tontitown brought home the school’s first dance state title Nov. 13 when the 10-member team danced away with the Game Day Division State Title in the 1A-4A classification. It was the first year the Game Day Division was offered by the Arkansas Activities Association as a competitive category at the Arkansas State Dance Championship at Lake Hamilton High School in Hot Springs. OCA is in its fourth year but began its competitive dance program this year. OCA competed against four other high schools in the 1A-4A classification.
