Connie Boutwell, state regent and legislation chair for Catholic Daughters, Court Our Lady of Victory #564, conducted a voter registration drive following Masses April 2-3 at St. Joseph Church in Pine Bluff. The purpose was to give individuals a chance to register to vote, make address changes or reactivate one’s registration. In order to vote in the preferential primary election, the paperwork needed to be postmarked or delivered by April 9 to the county clerk’s office. Three parishioners took advantage of this opportunity.
