Three more Parish Catechist Formation Days are scheduled for this spring to study "The Mystery of the Eucharist in the Life of the Church,” the 2021 document released by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops outlining the goals of the National Eucharistic Reival going on through 2025.
They are:
The day will begin at 9 a.m. and end with Mass at 4 p.m.
Two formation days have already been held in English and Spanish in Little Rock and Dardanelle. The third one will be held Jan. 28 in Subiaco.
Faith formation director Jeff Hines said the speakers so far have been priests and trained catechists from around the diocese, including Father Mauricio Carrasco of Dardanelle, Father Stephen Gadberry and Deacon Marcelino Luna, both of Little Rock, Father Jon Miskin, Sister Ana Luisa Chavez, MCSC, and Sister Maria del Refugio Caldera, MCSC, all of Batesville, and Father Cassian Elkins, OSB, and Father Mark Stengel, OSB, both of Subiaco.
