Mercy Health, with locations in Fort Smith and Rogers, is one of 42 health systems chosen to participate in the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute to pioneer projects that will more quickly move research results into clinical care so patients will benefit sooner. Each participating health system can receive up to $500,000 to support preparation for rapid implementation strategies. Health Systems Implementation Initiative participants represent nearly a quarter of the U.S. population.
