The Pax Christi Little Rock board voted April 13 to donate $1,000 to the tornado relief fund for Catholic Charities of Arkansas. Support would go to those affected by the March 31 tornado that hit the Little Rock area and Wynne. One of the board members challenged the rest of the board to match those funds personally, making the total contribution $2,000. Over the next month, board members doubled the match of $1,000, making it possible for Pax Christi Little Rock to donate $3,000 to Catholic Charities for long-term tornado relief.
