40 Days for Life

Published January 30, 2024

From Ash Wednesday, Feb. 14, to Palm Sunday, March 24, Catholics are invited to participate in 40 Days for Life to pray and fast for an end to abortion. Pro-life supporters will stand and peacefully pray from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. during a 40-day vigil on the public sidewalk outside Planned Parenthood at 1501 Aldersgate Road in Little Rock. Parking is across the street at the Rug Gallery.

The kickoff prayer rally will be held from 3-4 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 11.

Organizers said, “Thanks to God most abortions are now illegal in Arkansas, but women continue to face unplanned pregnancies and need real help, not referrals for out-of-state abortions.”

To sign up to pray for an hour or for more information to get your church involved, contact Marsha Boss at (501) 960-5051.

In Rogers, supporters are invited to pray outside the Planned Parenthood clinic at 1222 West Poplar from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Due to construction at Poplar & 13th, do not park in the St. Vincent de Paul Church parking lot. Parking is available in the empty lot east of Elevate.
