Benjamin B. Warfield III dies

Benjamin B. Warfield,III, 84, of Lake Village, died Saturday, Dec. 30 at Chicot Memorial Medical Center in Lake Village. Warfield was born Sept. 21, 1933, at Grand Lake to the late Benjamin B. Warfield II and Josephine (Santini) Warfield. He was a veteran in the Army during the Korean War conflict. He worked on the pipeline for many years. He was a member of our Lady of the Lake Church.

Warfield was preceded in death by his, parents, two sisters, Vera Place and Joan Warfield.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Maxine (Dobbs) Warfield of Lake Village; one son, Benjamin B. Warfield IV and wife Lana of Lake Village; one sister, Helen Musik of Memphis; two grandsons, Benjamin B. Warfield V. and John JacksonWarfield; a niece, Wendy Gerald and husband Craig of Little Rock; and a nephew, William E. Place II of Ann Arbor, Mich.

Visitation was Jan. 2 from with a rosary at Bishop-King Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial was held Wednesday,Jan. 3 at Our Lady of the Lake Church, with Father Henry as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Isidore Cemetery in Lake Village. Arrangementsare by Bishop-King Funeral Home of Lake Village, Arkansas.
