Taste of Faith held in Hot Springs Village

Bishop Taylor and a number of priests and seminarians at the Taste of Faith seminarian fundraiser at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Hot Springs Village July 27.

The Hot Springs Village Knights of Columbus Council 10208 held a highly successful seminarian fundraising event on Friday, July 27. This Taste of Faith dinner was attended by Bishop Taylor, a number of priests and seminarians and 240 Sacred Heart of Jesus parishioners.

The council raised $34,500 toward the education of future diocesan priests. It was a gala evening, with music supplied by Larry Womack. Newly ordained Father Patrick Friend gave a moving talk on the importance of the laity in the vocations process. The delicious dinner was topped off with Father Bill Elser's famous ice cream.
