Four obituaries from Pocahontas shared

MICHAEL McRAE THOMPSON, 71, of Grants Pass, Ore., formerly of St. Paul Church in Pocahontas, died Aug. 17.  He is survived by his wife, Millie Thielemier Thompson; three daughters, Ann Kristine Prasser and Rebecca Marr of San Diego, Calif. and Lisa Houston of Phoenix, Ariz; grandsons, Nolan and Hayden Houston, Milo and Hudson Marr, Kennedy and Christian Prasser.

THOMAS B. NEWBERRY, 88, of Dodge City, Kan., formerly of St. Paul Church in Pocahontas, died July 6.  He is survived by a brother, Kenneth Newberry of Jonesboro; two sisters, Phyllis Speck and Ruth Stauth of Dodge City, Kansas.

PHYLLIS WEISENBACH, 79, a member of St. John the Baptist Church at Engelberg, died Sept. 15. She is survived by her husband, Gene Weisenbach; one son, Gary Dennis Weisenbach; five daughters,  Angela Citek, Kathy Mesenbrink, Lisa Cole, Annetta Allen, and Tina Sharp; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren; one brother, Charles Toye and one sister, Sharon Nieman.

JEFF BALTZ, 58, of Springfield, Mo,, formerly of St. Paul Church in Pocahontas, died Sept. 22.  He is survived by his mother, Sara Stehr Baltz; sisters, Beth Throesch of Pocahontas and Debbie Rowland of Springfield, Mo.
