Uplifting music and storytelling April 28-30

Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and pastor Father Bill Elser are sponsoring an Easter season mission and concert, titled “Evangelization and Easter Joy,” featuring popularCatholic musician, songwriter and storyteller Steve Angrisano. The dates are set for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday (April 28, 29 and 30) at 7 p.m. each night.

Steven Angrisano is undoubtedly one of the most effective and versatile ministry leaders in the Church today. Young and old alike embrace the passionate message of faith, hope and love woven throughout his music and storytelling. Always rooted in a spirit of humility and faithfulness, Steve’s honest style of ministry is born from who he is: a committed witness to the life and love of Jesus Christ.

Steve’sunique blend of humor, song, story and interaction engages audiences of all ages. This makes him both a natural and popular choice for parish missions, youth conferences and diocesan, national, and world-wide events.

“GoMake a Difference” was co-written by Steve and is often the recessional song at SHJ masses as parishioners leave their place of worship and enter back into the world. Just read these lyrics from the first verse and see for yourself why this is a such a popular song. . .
