Free bilingual children’s health fair

Our Lady of Good Counsel’s Faith and Health Ministry will be hosting their first annual Children’s Healt hFair on Saturday, October 19 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Hannia Bejarano, bilingual office assistant, said, “I am excited both to help set up and attend this event! I look forward to all the fun activities and health information for my 3-year-old. I know he will have a blast and I will have better resources to help keep him healthy.”

Among those activities,the Hillary Clinton Children’s Library will do a healthy cooking demonstration for kids. Weather permitting, there will be a fire truck and ambulance on site for children to explore. Additionally, there will be a bicycle/ tricycle course and helmet checks. Also available will be car seat safety verification (with an alternative rain date in case of inclement weather or car overflow) and safety sleep mini-class sign-up for infants.
