Two Pocahontas residents die

John Leo Hoelscher, 88, a member of St. Paul Church in Pocahontas, died Oct. 24. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Ann Frankenberger Hoelscher; three sons, Thomas Ray Hoelscher, of North Arkansas, Paul Hoelscher of Jonesboro and Peter David Hoelscher of Little Rock; three daughters, Mary Hoover of Indiana, Barbara Ellen Melton of Rogers and Sue Marie Setter of Oklahoma City, OK; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Shirley Ann Thielemier Sorg, 75, a member of St. Paul Church in Pocahontas, died Nov. 6. She is survived by her husband, Robert Sorg; two sons, Bobby Sorg of Pocahontas and Kevin Sorg of Springdale; a daughter, Maria Dickson of Pocahontas; six grandchildren; five brothers, Don Thielemier and Richard Thielemier of Engelberg, Frank Thielemier of Jefferson City, MO, Steve Thielemier of Dalton and Jerry Allen Thielemier of Jonesboro; two sisters, Betty Lindsey of Engelberg and Jane Junkersfeld of Eureka, Kan.
