St. Anne Parish in North Little Rock renovated the Joachim House, which was used for meetings, to be the rectory for the priests of the parish. Father Alejandro Puello, pastor, says, “The shepherd must be close to his flock, not in only physical proximity but a spiritual one. It was a necessary step out of the fruits that drive an integrating and growing parish to have the ability to care for and have their own priests close by while restoring to the parish what it had lost.”
On Feb. 11, parishioners gathered for a tour of the new rectory and the blessing of the rectory by Bishop Anthony B. Taylor.
