How did you hear your calling to become a deacon? I have experienced a gradual calling to the diaconate. Looking back, the calling started when we joined Christ the King parish in 2010. I became involved in the parish and was an active participant in ministries like Men of Faith, Marriage Encounter and perpetual adoration, which allowed my whole family and I to come to know other parishioners and to discover more about their lives and faith journeys. With time, my heart softened to hear a higher calling, to serve him as a deacon.

What ministries are you currently involved in? Men of Faith, Marriage Encounter

Who have been the biggest influences in your diaconate formation? The biggest influence in my diaconate formation came through the other candidates and their wives. Getting to know them and discovering how God is working in their lives has been a tremendous gift during these six years of formation.
