Seminarians earn master’s degree

Five seminarians for the Diocese of Little Rock earned master’s degrees May 14 from St. Meinrad Seminary in Indiana. Graduates accepted their diplomas from Abbot Justin DuVall, OSB, of St. Meinrad Archabbey and chairman of the school’s board of trustees. Receiving master’s degrees in divinity were Joseph Chan of Fort Smith, Mario Jacobo and Taryn Whittington, both of Little Rock, and Norman McFall of Pine Bluff. Receiving a master’s degree in Catholic philosophical studies was Daniel Velasco of Searcy.
