Bishop Taylor announces new pastoral appointments

Little Rock, Oppelo, Morrilton and other priests receive latest assignments

Bishop Anthony B. Taylor announced the following pastoral appointments.

 

  • Effective April 8

Rev. Martin Dara, a priest of the Diocese of Nellore, appointed associate pastor of the Cathedral of St. Andrew in Little Rock.

Rev. Kiran Kishore Ingilela, a priest of the Diocese of Nellore, appointed associate pastor of Sacred Heart Church in Morrilton and St. Elizabeth Church in Oppelo.

 

  • Effective May 1

Rev. Mauricio Carrasco appointed prefect of the House of Formation in Little Rock. He is relieved of his responsibilities as pastor of St. Augustine Church in Dardanelle, St. Andrew Church in Danville, Church of the Assumption in Atkins, St. Leo the Great University Parish in Russellville, and as dean of the River Valley Deanery and his service in the Presbyteral Council.

Rev. Rajasekhar Chittem appointed pastor of Church of the Assumption in Atkins and St. Leo the Great University Parish in Russellville. He is relieved of his responsibilities as associate pastor of Sacred Heart Church in Morrilton and St. Elizabeth Church in Oppelo. 

Rev. Omar Galván appointed from associate pastor to administrator of St. Augustine Church in Dardanelle and St. Andrew Church in Danville. He is relieved of his responsibilities as associate pastor of Church of the Assumption in Atkins and St. Leo the Great University Parish in Russellville. 

Rev. Jeff Hebert relieved of his responsibilities as prefect of the House of Formation in Little Rock. He remains diocesan vocations director.
