Stolen crosses recovered

Published August 18, 2017

Arkansas Right to Life was able to recover some of the stolen crosses after an anonymous tip Aug. 11 led officials to the Landmark community in Pulaski County. The crosses were handmade as were the bags that held them. After being dumped and exposed to the weather and insects it is uncertain how many crosses can be salvaged.

A trailer and almost 4,000 small white crosses were stolen June 19 from the Life Center in Little Rock. While the crosses were recovered, the trailer is still missing. A suspect has been identified.

The crosses were placed outside of churches on a rotating basis across the state to educate communities about the number of unborn children killed by abortion each day in the United States. Arkansas Right to Life is currently working to restore the ministry with the help of supporters. The organization is in need of a storage building, 6-foot utility trailer and materials for more crosses. For more information, call (501) 663-4237 or email .
