The Brother Ephrem O’Bryan, OSB, Endowed Chair for Excellence in Teaching was awarded to Jeff Ingle at Subiaco Academy Feb. 16. Headmaster Mike Berry said, “Each year Subiaco Academy names a member of the faculty as an Endowed Chair recipient. The purpose of the Endowed Chair Program is to ensure and maintain high educational standards by rewarding outstanding faculty in specific disciplines and providing facilities that will enrich the life of the Academy today and for generations to come.”
Ingle, who obtained a bachelor’s degree in fisheries and wildlife biology, received his non-traditional licensure and began teaching at Paris Middle School. In 2014 he joined Subiaco Academy as a math teacher and academic guidance counselor. He and his wife have two sons who attend Subiaco Academy.
